John Cratchley Perich has hit upon a rich vein of 'fusion' with his mixture of electronic programming and 'standard' instrumentation (although I doubt you'll hear the harpsichord played like this often!)...
I suppose you can tag it 'minimalist' if you wish (that description seems too general for my taste) and i'm not keen on the 'austere' label either...there is a warmth to his composition that negates a sense of severity,I is playful too; there is a feeling of delight in the results.
