John Cratchley It all feels deceptively simple but I suspect a fearful complexity beneath the surface of Perich's work...the detailing is exquisite but the over-arching effect is monumental at times...like looking up in a cathedral.
Architectural then, but perhaps not inhabitable...more of a place to gather for ritual? Then it all gets intimate (warm violins) and the piece exhibits huge levels of contrast! Surprising and intriguing!
